Since the age of 18 years old, Taranjit has been teaching and tutoring primary and secondary students. By the time she graduated from Informatics College in Computer Engineering, she was running her own tuition classes teaching Mathematics, including preparing students for UPSR and Cambridge Checkpoint. Backed with corporate experience from Telekom Malaysia, Citibank and RE2 International Computer School, Taranjit joins Abedeen Academy as a Mathematics teacher.
As an educator and the Assistant Headmaster of Academics for Abedeen International School, Taranjit lives by the concept of ‘drilling and practicing until you succeed’. She complements this effort by motivating and inspiring her students through stories of real life working experiences so that her students don’t ever become complacent with ‘just enough’. As the Assistant Headmaster, she is responsible to ensure that the students of Abedeen excel in their academics. Apart from ensuring that the students get enough drill and practice, she arranges for examination workshops, career talks and motivational talks.
